Well, I've done it again; another trip to Gamestop, another game purchase. On the expense side it wasn't so bad. Prior to buying Brave Story: New Traveler, I did trade in a rather lousy PS3 game I'd gotten for free via one of the websites I work for, so the trade-in credit made it rather affordable. But as I'm sure anyone who has been even loosely following my backlog saga can tell you, I already have too many games to play. That being said, I'm loving Brave Story so far. It doesn't break any conventions but its still a fun RPG if you have a PSP. And the graphics; I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention, because it really does look good.
Brave Story also shows up in one of our editorials today as well. JuMeSyn and Macstorm return with some nice pieces. JuMeSyn discusses the annoyance of those seemingly endless screens you have to click through before you can ever play any game nowadays. Macstorm on the other hand, writes about the idea of games that rather than striving for innovation find their strength in the safety of what's already out there. As always, we ask that you write in with whatever quirky thoughts might happen to be coursing through those noggins. A good editorial is never wasted here. If you write a bad one, well, we can talk about. Have a good week folks!
