Believe it or no, Shawn "Lusipurr" Cooper is exactly as you'd expect in person. As Ethan so eloquently placed it whilst we ate our breakfast this morning, he is the "personification of his persona."

My time here has been quite enjoyable indeed. Soon after arriving, I was taken to a fancy restaurant in downtown Rochester. Afterwards, me and Ethan were shown the wonders of Meijer, a store that I've never experienced, having lived in the South all my life. (I didn't have the heart to tell Shawn that it seemed very much like a glorified Wal-Mart.) After arriving home, we began playing Super Smash Bros Brawl. Shawn was eager to prove his dominance over us; I believe he was a bit shocked when he found that me and Ethan are both rather competent fighters. Sleeping arrangements perhaps aren't the greatest in the world, although they suffice; I'm in a sleeping bag on his rock-hard floor, while Ethan lies atop some sort of flattened green lawn chair that Shawn claims is a cot.

The next day marked his after-Christmas party, which was a small, subdued, but entirely enjoyable affair. We played more Smash Bros, some non-video game called Scattergories, and enjoyed some food and spirits. Shawn also tried to make me sing Christmas carols whilst he banged away on his piano; an offer I not-so-politely declined. First and foremost, a nasty cold has almost entirely claimed my voice anyway. Even if that weren't the case, I simply don't sing. Ever.

After the party had run its course, a vicious windstorm decided to barrel through Michigan and knock out the majority of Rochester Hills' electricity. Lucky for us, the windstorm was accompanied by a cold front. We managed to fall asleep despite the cold, but we thought it best to arise around noon for fear of freezing in place. Shawn built a fire, we went off to breakfast, and soon after our return the power came back - a lucky thing indeed, because today is the day we're supposed to produce all our little media features...
