Microsoft Game Studios has announced that Fable: The Lost Chapters, for the PC, has gone gold and will release in North America on September 20. Those wondering what to look for in stores may view the packaging here. The title is also scheduled for release on the Xbox later this fall.

The Lost Chapters adds to the original Fable with new destructive weapons, more protective armor, new spectacular spells, and plenty of new enemies and other threats that will need to be defeated. This title has been optimized to work with Windows XP, will retail for $49.99, and has been rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB.
